Pilot checklist
Before digitizing the store
- List every reusable controlled tool with serial, owner, home position, and calibration requirement.
- Separate serviceability, calibration validity, custody, location, and ownership in the operating model.
- Identify tools that must never issue when calibration is expired.
- Define who can issue, return, dispatch to calibration, receive from calibration, and validate imported records.
- Capture current token-board behavior so the digital pilot improves the workflow instead of fighting it.
- Choose pilot metrics before rollout: search time, known-holder accuracy, digital transaction rate, and expired-tool issues.
